Good Luck Everyone!
I can't wait to see photos of the local's finds... Oh ya, and all the
meteorite collector/hunter's finds as well! ;-)
Btw... I envision at least one of the locals, holding a nice Holbrook,
grinning ear-2-ear, for Michael Johnson's wonderful, "Picture of the Day".
That would be my challenge, 'Include & Educate'!!
Wish I could be there, Have fun!!!
Best Regards,
Greg

Hi Larry!
Thanks for the heads up! Based on out last emails, I met with the
locals there today. The skinny one with prison tats all over,
remembered you! ahahaha!
Anyway...
All is good with both parties on both properties. I sent out a report
to the people arriving in the next few days. I am here now!
Already adopted the Motel Kitty....some kitty treats and some
condensed milk did the trick!
Had a nice visit at the Nininger museum and the crater...well...kind
of around it! Some Ahole (pardon my cussing) graffiti'ed the museum.
Will post pictures when I get back home...Monday to Tuesday.
It's been a long day! I am pooped!
Hope all is well with you!
Best!

Greetings Holbrook Hunters,
I'm not sure if Sonny has mentioned it as I've not been following the
Holbrook thread, but when Sonny and I were there in April the guy that
lives
at the end of the road on the right came out and made some comments about
all the meteorite hunting traffic, and he doesn't like it. He is a bit
unpredictable to say the least, I'll leave it at that. Just be aware that
if
he comes over and says something to you, you may be caught off guard
because
he doesn't hold back and he gets real excited. Though he may not be
exactly
in the right, as hunters we all need to remember to respect the people
that
live in the communities where we hunt and give them the benefit of the
doubt.
I wish I could go, good luck to everyone that is going!

Hey all,
We may not have room in our truck, but we will try to help out. We
probably
won't meet at Denny's because we're driving up Sat. morning. But if
people
have
to park their cars along the main road coming in, maybe we can help with
rides
from there.
As far as the rain goes - we've almost got stuck in the rain there quite a
few
times. It takes days for the area to drain too...
Regardless, it looks like it's going to be a great opportunity to meet
fellow
listers so far unknown... :)
Clear skies (for the weekend!)

Hello Holbrook Hunters... For those with 2 wheel drives, that may not
want
to venture out to the field, can likely find a ride with those how have
room in their 4 wheel drives. I will have room for 3 riders from Motel 6.
Plus it's good to have help, if I get stuck!!! Ha!

Hi,
A few have asked me if I'm still planning on being there... YES, I
don't mind a little rain!
I'll be the one wearing the bandanna!
