The model doesn't use the wind direction at all. From what I understand the documentation is wrong, METRo doesn't do anything with the wind direction. I think I can easily force METRo to do what you want. When Miguel is back from vacation we will make a decision what to do with that. Can you provide me the command line use to run your example or maybe the log file(the command should be in the log).
