WebSphere Architect Location - SF, CA Architect and Director level people. Start: not til Nov 1st. Duration: 12+ months
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, package implementation, and/or interactive design, and Architecture experience Minimum 4 - 5 years of hand-on experience in architecting solutions using IBM Websphere Portal Platform. Experience with IBM Websphere Portal Server 6.0.x a must. Experience in WPP's (Websphere Portal Platform) personalization engine required Experience in migrating large public facing sites to IBM WPP. Experienced in creating a strategy, plan and articulating best practices for such a migration Should have integrated WPP with a content management system (Interwoven preferred) 4 - 5 years of hands-on experience in Enterprise search (Endeca preferred) and Web analytics platform (WebTrends preferred) Knowledge of multiple technologies including (but not limited to): J2EE, CGI, HTML, DHTML, XML, JavaScript, Java, PL/SQL, IBM DB2, Red Hat Linux, Tivoli Directory Server 6.0, Rally, Tivoli, Mercury Interactive - Performance Center Certification within their area of specialization is required Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively managing client accounts and multi-track teams. Each track of work might consist of 30 - 60 people through multiple tracks of work through the development life cycle Ability to understand critical issues and bring appropriate resolution to cross-industry, complex issues; Ability to drive complex estimates and effectively communicate risks and dependencies to client 12+ years work experience. 7+ years project management experience, 12+ preferably in a client-service organization. Experience managing QA 12+ engagements. 3+ years of client management experience with primary 12+ accountability for peer-level client relationships at the executive 12+ level Experience in project managing migration of large public facing sites to IBM WPP. Experienced in dependency management, issue management and risk management. Should have lead diverse teams of 30 people in dynamic and fast-paced environments. Accountability for budget or client revenue of $5mm+ 2 - 3 years of experience in managing large scale projects leveraging Agile methodology a must Experienced in multiple full project lifecycles from business development to final delivery. Experience using object oriented design and development methodologies. Experience in managing people in multiple geographies a must Led teams with multiple discipline representation (especially technology, creative, QA and strategy).
