Position:               Technical Sales / Business Development

Description:

The Sales / Business Development Consultant has the responsibility for 
establishing strategic priorities for the revenue growth of the PSG and MVS 
ventures. The primary responsibility will be establishing new customer 
relationships and some maintaining and growing of existing customers. This 
includes establishing near and short term plans in conjunction with the 
management team to achieve the company's goals while creating a strong value 
based brand with the customer base. The Sales / Business Development consultant 
will be held accountable for consistently increasing revenue through the 
acquisition of new business and expansion of existing accounts. 

 

Key Functional Area:

Selling Staff augmentation or professional services both contract and permanent 
staffing.

Project Acquisition / IT sales in the areas of Software Applications 
Development, Web Services and Software Quality Assurance (Microsoft Platform).

Solution sales for complete recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) services. 

 

Responsibilities:

Identify, Establish and maintain customer contact and build relationships with 
new customers or existing customers through periodic sales calls and written 
communication.

Generate leads through prospecting and cold calling, both video conferencing 
and via telephone and other electronic media. 

Provide solutions for technical staffing support both contract and permanent, 
take accurate job descriptions and understand company requirements and cultures 
so that an accurate match can be made. Partner with recruiting teams to ensure 
delivery to customer requisitions. Continuously monitor client and talent 
satisfaction results and takes the appropriate actions with employees, external 
talent, and clients. 

Identify opportunities for IT Services project (Microsoft platform) for the 
development team.

Partner with value proposition in providing high class RPO solutions for 
identifying right candidate to right job.

Direct operations support in proposal activities to develop winning project 
approach and execution plans.

Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations. 

Review contracts (either general services or project specific) and note 
exceptions for review with customer or review by CSI. 

Completion of all required sales reports or prospects for bids and proposals 
and detailed documentation, including timely entry of data into CSI's LeadMAX 
sales software and other automated systems. 

Report to management both orally and via call, reports pertinent information 
concerning customers, competitors, etc. 

 

Requirements: 

Minimum of 4+ year's current proven direct sales experience and success in 
staff augmentation or professional services, in the last 2+ years, (success in 
a challenging market). Current client / contact base with hiring managers.

Minimum 2 year experience in providing RPO solution / selling RPO services.

Minimum 2 year experience in IT sales / project acquisition, Microsoft platform 
(Preferred) 

Hunter mentality--this is a MUST 

Must be proficient in prospecting techniques, with the ability to research and 
find new buyers in this market, and then be able to secure meetings with these 
hiring managers daily.

Strong emphasis on communication, presentation, follow up, negotiation and 
closing skills. 

Understand the reason to return all customer emails and calls immediately, and 
have a history of doing that, which has contributed to your success. 

Work at US time zones.

Educational qualifications: Any professional Degree; MBA preferred.
