SAP Developer (ABAP) Location: Southfield, MI (Local candidates only) Bill Rate: Competitive Duration: 3+ Months The SAP Developer is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the specification, development, testing, and documentation of ABAP code for an SAP implementation. Responsibilities: > Interpretation of functional requirements and development of ABAP programs according to specifications. Programs to be developed include, but are not limited to, the following: conversions, reports, forms, enhancements, and interfaces. > Develop functional prototypes to explore different design concepts. > Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure accuracy and completeness of Functional Specifications. > Design, develop, and expose SAP BAPI objects. > Develop and deploy SAP interfaces with external enterprise systems. > Development, execution, and documentation of unit test procedures. > Assist in system, integration, performance and user acceptance testing. > Development of technical and support documentation. > Report and dialog programming using Screen. Requirements: > Experience with SAP v4.6C, SAP v4.7, or ECC 5.0. > Experience with Business Objects. > Experience and understanding of .NET. > Understanding of software development life cycle. > Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team. > Minimum of 5+ years experience in SAP ABAP development. > AS or BS degree in a technical field of study or related work experience. > Extensive Crystal Reporting experience.
