It sounds like your PM4 files are being corrupted somehow. I run Advanced Fab myself and typically only see that error when someone tries to change the machine type in the job file defaults to anything other than a punch, i.e. Burner, Laser etc... SmartCAM will create the job file but will not recognize it later when trying to load it back in. Another occasion where I see this error is when someone inadvertently opens the PM4 file in Edit Plus and saves it on exit, corrupting the PM4 file.
