Hi all, I'm using rough/pocket with spiral to machine a pocket that has a bunch of islands in it. I imported the file as a dxf, the islands have several different heights, these came in on different layers, I assigned each layer a level of -1" (the material is 1" thick) and I assigned a prof top according to the height of that island. (ie: -.25", -.375" etc).
I gave the boundary a level of -1 and a prof top of 0". Then I overode the first pass level and the final pass level to be -.0625 (my depth of cut per pass) and -.48" (the total depth I want to cut to). I told it to avoid grouped islands and do a island top pass. Then I selected the islands. When I press go it only generates toolpath to a depth of -.1875" or 3 passes. There are no islands at this level and no matter what I do it stops generating after 3 passes. Am I doing anything wrong here? I don't think so. I'm stuck here at work until I finish this since I need to run it overnight tonight. I am out of ideas. If you have any I would really appreciate it.
