I am currently using Cadra as my drafting package and importing the drawings into smartcam for my programming needs. It seems to be working fine.

I am using, if you can call it that, an old version of Cadkey, V7, which is DOS based and cumbersome, not to mention that I am running out of old working Dos systems. I create drawings for in-house parts from customer samples and need a simple, wire frame type drafting package that is not too much money, and most importantly, easy to learn. I do have the wonderful product of IDEAS, but whenever I decide to try, it seems way too difficult and cumbersome for simple drawings. I do not need the ability to nest virtual parts together and make them function, I just want a simple drawing. Can you folks give me any direction as to what works? Thanks, oh, and about that previous post, the spacing didnt quite work out as I had it layed out when I typed it, and even I have a hard time figuring out what I meant. If anyone wants the info, let me know and I will lay it out a little better and re-send. Thanks again Jon ====================================================================== To find out more about this mailing list including how to unsubscribe, send the message "info mfg-smartcam" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] ======================================================================
