original message: I had to replace a failing hard drive. How do I keep the licensing correct. Every thing copied across just fine, but when I run one of the apps it returns a error saying the license is invalid. In the license manager I noticed the server code is different I suspect that this is the half of the key that keeps people from coping the software. I know what the server key portion was from the old hard drive, but I do not know how or where to modify it. This is Smartcam ver 9.2.
Thanks to all that replied. The volume id or serial number was the key. Once change to the original value the licensing problems were eliminated.
