Thanks to all who replied in my search for the missing files. My Machine Define DOS set is now complete. It's amazing how many "hard core" SmartCAM user we have here that will save releases dating back 10 years or more. (I have a working copy of V2.0, circa 1985)

The files I need are the transform (.trn) and description (.des) files for defining edm code generators. These particular files were only installed with the Advanced Wire EDM application. If I knew the full file names I'd list them, but both the .trn and .des files would have the same name, probably something to do with edm, wire wedm, etc... If the default installation were used they would have installed under the c:\Sm6 directory. Does anyone still have a PC with v6 or v7 Resource Package with Advanced Wire Edm loaded that could find and forward these files?
