In order to access step information from the planner in a macro, you need to first open the context of the step first.
The following example is for extracting the cut_feed from step number 10: JOS_CONTEXT_OPEN[BASEITEM=1, USERNAME="10"] #FEED=jos(cut_feed) JOS_CONTEXT_CLOSE[] For more information on these commands, check page 140 of the SmartCAM Customization Guide. ============================================= Fred Lauzus, CAM Programming Coordinator High Steel Structures, Incorporated mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.highsteel.com ============================================= > -----Original Message----- > From: Greg King [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, September 12, 2000 12:53 PM > To: SmartCam User Group > Subject: Feed > > I'm trying to extract a laser feed rate from the Job Operation Planner > within a macro. > #FEED=jos(cut_feed) Is what I have tried and I get no output.
