You need to create your point with the tip switch on to create a tip point. This creates a tool change point or a rapid tool point based location of the imaginary tool tip. The point is marked in the list view as a tpoint. This option is dim unless a turning tool is active.
1. Select Create--Geometry--Point/Rapid to open the Point/Rapid control panel. 2. Turn on the Tip switch. 3.
