Colin,

First, you can use F9, F10, F11 and F12 to see the top, front, right or Iso view with the visible elements automatically fitted to the screen size.

Try using F5 to dynamically rotate, spin, pan and zoom to get the viewing angle you want. Then use View, Name View to give this view a name which you can then recall using View, Get View. You can give the view any name, just by typing the name into the Name View box. You can even reuse the standard names (Top, Front, Right and Iso).

In your icon bar file, you can reorganize and shuffle the icons using a standard text editor (notepad or Edit Plus). A full set of available icons is in the iconbar.def file. You can cut and paste from this file into your icon bar file.

Four of my favorite icons for view manipulation are:

BUTTON "Get View"
BUTTON "Full"
BUTTON "Window"
BUTTON "Last View"

Subject: [mfg-smartcam] Viewing

Why is it when you change views, the model is always off to one side of the screen until you click on either base or non hidden box to get the full view on screen. Is there a way to work around this.
