Good morning to all on the mfg-smartcam user's list! I would like to know if anyone has any experience with an Acramatic 850SX CNC control?
I need to know if this sample code represents a single block or line of code, G6.2 P4 K1. X11.9609 Y1.1554 Z-1.9074 R1.? The control that I plan to program for (an Acramactic 850SX) considers 120 characters equal to ONE foot of program or control memory. I need to know if this or any other CNC control counts both empty spaces and characters to determine how much CNC control memory a program occupies? The above code sample consumes forty one spaces, if I wrote a program that used forty or less characters per program line, would the control allow the programer to fit three lines of code per foot of memory?
