the Cayman 3220 uses NAT to provide security.  This presents problems for
programs (like REDARS/BOLD) which are trying to access a specific IP port.
You need to ask the Boeing folks which IP or UDP port REDARS/BOLD is
attempting to use. Then you must configure the Cayman 3220 to allow this
activity.
This will open your system to intrusion if you get scanned by the script kiddies.

the information you are looking for is at www.cayman.com for the router.  Under
support, FAQ, pinholes.  The documentation is pretty straightforward.  Or just call
them at 800) 473-4776.  They may have already solved this problem.

Subject: [mfg-smartcam] Cayman Router

Hello:

I know this is probably not the place for this but I can't think of any
better place to reach the people that might know what I am trying to do.
I have installed Southwestern Bell DSL service in our shop with a Cayman
router model # 3220H. I have 5 static IP address assigned to me. Internet
and E-Mail seems to work great  The problem comes when I try to connect to
Boeing REDARS/BOLD application server. I can trace route to the IP Address
at Boeing and get through fine. It is when Boeing sends information back to
me. Any one dealing with Boeing REDARS/BOLD will know what I am talking
about. If you have any knowledge of the Cayman #3220H router and how to do
Network Address Translation that might help.

Sorry for using this site for something other than SmartCam. I have been a
SmartCam user sense  Version 2.
