Cutting shop from Arbor image will auto-convert pcx to dxf. The latest version will also do color. I don't know of any other raster to vector convertor which will do color. Color photos are very difficult (especially in shadow) but color pcx files with a limited number of colors will convert without having to draw over them manually.
We use it for generating dxf's for cutting art on the laser as well as inserting photographs into ACAD documentation as line drawings.
