I don't know if any
others have use of a function whereby you can pick 3 points anywhere in 3D space
and create an arc from your 3 picks.
I know I do but I
don't have the skills with Smartcam macro language to implement this
feature.
Reason why it would
be nice to have:
Imagine you have a
internal fillet surface that has to be surface machined and you're trying to
figure out what the fillet rad is so you can choose the right cutter straight
away.
I know I can
put a WCS on the three points and then create an arc through the same three
points, then verify the arc value but its very longwinded. It would be nice to
have as a macro to do this but how do you input the three points (using
snap).
