I had to install it to get VPN to connect to a win2k server, otherwise I would not have installed it. I have heard too many stories about blue screens and dr watson errors. I now use win2k for work and winxp on a test partition. I would ALWAYS install the OS to a clean partition regardless of the OS you choose. sorry I could not be more help. bob
