The only way we were able to do it was by assigning each line to a string
variable then checking if there was anything in the variable before
outputing it.
In the job notes type
#S1=SET ZERO ON THE LEFT END AND THE CENTERLINE OF BORE
#S2=USE TWO CLAMPS ON THE RIGHT SIDE
Then in the tmp file @START section place the following lines
#IFSTR(#S1> )<! #S1#EVAL(#S1= )>
#IFSTR(#S2> )<! #S2#EVAL(#S2= )>
#IFSTR(#S3> )<! #S3#EVAL(#S3= )>
#IFSTR(#S4> )<! #S4#EVAL(#S4= )>
#IFSTR(#S5> )<! #S5#EVAL(#S5= )>

I've always thought I should be able to place all my program notes to the
operator in my shape file. So I finally tried this today using the job notes
section in the planner, and it will only output 40 characters. Is there a
way
around this? Also, I used to have version 8.0 manuals (which I can't find)
that
had the definitions of all these errors. I can't find them in the SC online
manual, is there someplace else I can get them.
