I've been involved in a few lists... over the internet days (& before), and I have to say that this one looks like fun. I have only been involved for a week or so, but I am impressed with the professionalism of al the contributors... I sense a lot of experience, here, and a lot of enthusiasm.

I have been in machining for 28 years, programming for 20+ years, 12 years of SmartCAM... I have lots of opinion, and lots of experience to offer to the group. This group seems "well behaved" to me.... seems like a lot of professionals..... spirited debate, lots of education, exactly what I lucked onto when finding the link to this group.

The bottom line is that I won't feel orphaned, using SmartCAM, which is what this list is about. I have been told by my dealer that I have lifetime support as far as changing computers and operating systems, and I have confidence in the software to bale me out of any challenge.... and with the support of the group, we can squeeze some new tricks out of our software and carry on...
