I have a situation where I am using two operations for a single tool. I run
the tool around the top edge of the part. I then move to the center and face
off some small islands before I rough out the entire pocket. The problem is
when I changed the operation to a slower feed rate to face the island, the
tool no longer moves XY to the center of the part. It is as if the position
never updates, run around the edge, rapid to clearance, right back down to
face the island, problem is there is no XY rapid before the tool goes back
down. I changed the operation to the original one and I get good code. What
gives?

I know it works I have three other almost identical parts that I program
the same way with the two operations they work fine, exactly how they are
supposed to.

I have encounter this several times before in the past few years of the XY
not updating. In the past it has always had to do with #FEED in a roughing
cycle. I do not know what causes this but it is a total pain in the ass.
Both show path and show cut look fine, only the code has problems.

Thanks for any thoughts

John
