[mfg-smartcam] Add Process Step

My question is in the Job Plan / Add Process Step / Milling Operations. In the Operation Type and Tool Type I would like to add Thread Milling. I've editted the m_inch.def, mautodsc.fmt, mautoid.fmt and just about every file I could find that pertains to the steps but it still doesn't show up when I open SC. Can this be done?
