You can use the older machine define files (smf v4) on any versions of
SmartCAM from v4.0 to v11.5. You can update a machine define file (to smf
v5) to take advantage of the new JOF file in SmartCAM v9.0 and up. You do
this by reading in the old machine define file in the later version of the
machine define utility and performing a "Save As SMF V5..." function.

HELP !!!!
i just upgraded from SC 8.2 to 10. production milling ..... yes i'm way 
behind the times . question is do i need to update my smf, tmp files ???
It seems that there was a change from 4 to 5 or something , i had a lot code

genenerators but they were lost in a hard drive chrash , if anyone could 
direct me to the sourse of old smf tmp files ... I promise to burn a cd this

time .... thanks in advance .
