You can use the older machine define files (smf v4) on any versions of SmartCAM from v4.0 to v11.5. You can update a machine define file (to smf v5) to take advantage of the new JOF file in SmartCAM v9.0 and up. You do this by reading in the old machine define file in the later version of the machine define utility and performing a "Save As SMF V5..." function.
Code generators can be found at Mike Gailey's web site: http://microsystemsgeorgia.com/smartcam_repository.htm ================================================== Fred Lauzus, CAM Programming Coordinator High Steel Structures, Incorporated mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.highsteel.com ================================================== -----Original Message----- From: Ron Fields [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, February 22, 2003 5:55 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: HELP !!!! i just upgraded from SC 8.2 to 10. production milling ..... yes i'm way behind the times . question is do i need to update my smf, tmp files ???
