Hi
I am having trouble trying to output code to cut a chamfer around a cam
slot on a cylinder using smartcam free form machining. I made good code to
cut the slot using wrapped geometry. I created geometry to cut a chamfer
along the edges of this slot and wrapped it. Show cut shows the chamfer
being cut okay but the code that is generated causes error at the machine.
The error comes from a line of code with G03. I have X,A,I,J output but
nothing for Y. Smartcam always outputs 0.0 for the Y axis. I can calculate
what the Y axis output should be and edit the program. The program then runs
fine. Does anyone know what can be done to make smartcam output the Y axis
code?
