We have started switching our SmartCAM to Windows XP workstations. We had previously associated the PM4 file type to the SmartCAM executable so we could start the application by double clicking the file in Explorer. We got this to work in Win 95, Win NT and Win 2K. I'm not having any luck in Win XP however. I receive an error and an apology from Microsoft "We are sorry for the inconvenience"
I've tried modifying the command line as follows with no success. "C:\SM9\SYSTEM\afab.exe" "%1" C:\SM9\SYSTEM\afab.exe "%1" C:\SM9\SYSTEM\afab.exe %1 "C:\SM9\SYSTEM\afab.exe" %1 Has anyone had success in doing this with SmartCAM under Win XP?
