Hi guys,
I've part-written a code-generator
for a five axis machine. The machine looks like a three axis vertical but has a
rotary C-axis flat on the table and a tilting A-axis head. The C-axis is
360 degrees and the A-axis goes from 15 degrees back from vertical to 90 degrees
forward, (it then looks just like an horizontal.)
I've just about got the code working
okay, for example if the work-plane (head) is tilted forward 30 degrees
everything is easy, if the work-plane (head) is tilted back by 30 degrees the C
axis has to be rotated 180 and the X & Y signs reversed.
All this works fine but try as I might I
can't get rotary feed motion for wrapped geometry to come out, whichever axis I
wrap it about!
Can anybody tell me what SMF file
questions to set, (although I think I've tried everything) and can anybody tell
me what to try in the @LINE section?
Yours in anticipation!
