I like the 5-liner as well. Why not make it customizable so the user can choose what to display?

What I like about the 5-liner is to be able to see the "step" and "feed"
info and especially the "time" info. I think maybe a 3-liner would be
nice if possible. Maybe get rid of the "x=, y=, z=" info and maybe also
the "machine=" info. Just my thought. Thanks.

Hi all,

Did you know that you can get a tiny (two lines tall) Show Path panel? It
has to be done via the icon bar or a hot key, but is pretty slick.

Add these lines to your favorite icon .bar file.

BUTTON "Show Path" ICON "vwspth6" EVENT dialog "VIEWSHWPATH"

Or this line to the [Hotkeys] section of your favorite application.ini
file.

SHIFT+F7=dialog "ViewShwPath"

Note that the difference is the "o" (ViewShwPath vs. ViewShowPath) as to
the
2 line vs. the 5 line dialog.

Any thoughts on whether to make this the standard menu pick for v12? I've
had the need for the 5 liner on rare occasions, but the 2 liner is the
way
to go ... that's my opinion anyway. What do you all think?

Cheers,

- John Gent
