Dave,

machine, but it does wear on the cutters if you push it too hard.

Chris

If in the same group as Hot Work Tool Steels 200-250 Bhn.
50 fpm hss drilling
1/16 .001 ipr
1/8 .002 ipr
1/4 .003 ipr
1/2 .006 ipr
3/4 .008 ipr
1.0 .010 ipr

End Milling Peripheral
.020 doc 360 fpm .001in/tooth @ 3/8 dia.
.060 doc 270 fpm .0025in/tooth @ 1/2 dia.

End Milling Slotting
Axial doc .030 50 fpm hss
Axial doc .125 45 fpm hss
dia/2 40 fpm hss
