*October 22nd* *KOCHI*: A three day workshop on ‘Intensive research methodology course for multi-disciplinary teams’ began at the Kusumagiri Mental Health Centre here on Thursday.
The workshop is being organised in collaboration with the Rajagiri College of Social Sciences and the Clinical Social Work Network of India.According to various studies, 25 percent of the global population is affected by mental health problems. It is important to understand the various causative factors as well as the financial burden that affect individuals, families and society at large. Only then can preventive measures be taken to reduce such problems. According to a WHO study, depression is the fourth largest disease in the world.
