*Dindigul | Sunday, Feb 13 2011 IST* A woman, said to be mentally-ill, and her son were found dead in a well at Sriramapuram near Oddanchathiram, here today.
Police suspected the woman, K Podumani (39), might have jumped into the well and her son K Rajasekhar (17), in an attempt to save her, would also have jumped into the well and both of them would have drowned. The bodies were retrieved from the well and sent to government hospital at Oddanchathiram for post-mortem. Further investigations were on, police added.
