*Feb 10, 2011* *ALLAHABAD:* A 21-year-old woman set herself ablaze along with her six-month-old child at her residence in Sherpur Nadla village under Sarayinayat police station on Wednesday.
The woman was identified as Anita Devi. Police said Anita was mentally challenged and was undergoing treatment. She was alone in the house along with her child at the time of incident, police added. Station officer, Saraymamrez said the incident came to light when neighbours noticed smoke coming out from Anita's house. But before the neighbours could extend help, the duo were dead. Anita's husband, Narendra Kumar works in Mumbai. She lived here with her in-laws.
