*Kounteya Sinha* *Mar 2, 2011* *NEW DELHI*: Two of India's best known medical institutions -- All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi and National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) in Bangalore -- have seen thehighest number of doctors leave for "greener pastures" from the public sector.
Around 14 doctors from AIIMS and NIMHANS have quit in the past three years to join private hospitals. Altogether 119 doctors -- of which 62 are from Central Health Services (CHS) -- left premier government hospitals in the past three years.
