*1 Apr 2011* *CHANDIGARH*: Cops have found that Kulwant Singh alias Goldy, 19, made the hoax call claiming that an explosive had been planted in PCA stadium in Mohali three days back, and rounded up him for the questioning on Wednesday.
Inspector Neeraj Sarna of crime branch said Goldy is apparently mentally challenged and had been putting up at Pingalwara gurdwara in Mohali for three years. He said Goldy had made the hoax call using the SIM of person he had found abandoned near a gurdwara in Mohali. The hoax call at UT police control room on March 27 had triggered panic among security personnel and the entire PCA stadium had been cordoned off. Police officials said the voice recorded at the police control room on March 27, matched that of Goldy. Cops said a daily diary report (DDR) was lodged at Sector-3 police station.
