Sir, My humble request to the Policy group is that as a group, will they kindly visit without notice the following places. 1.OPD of Psychiatry ward of Safdarjang Hospital 2.OPD of RML hospital Psychiatry ward 3.OPD of Psychiatry ward of AIIMS 4.OPD of IBHAS 5.Psychiatry centre of CGHS at Kidwai nagar. Then the same group must visit together 1.OPD of VIMHANS 2. OPD of Psychiatry ward of Apollo This may not involve any policy issues. But interacting with Mental patients and their cares will open the eye of the team to the pluses and minuses of public and Private sector health care which is delivered to Indian masses with regard to Mental Health.
