*BELGAUM*: The bodies of two brothers were found near Gokak waterfalls on
Sunday evening. The deceased are identified as Manjunath Raghunath Jartarkar
(38) and his younger brother Anil (30), natives of Hubli.

Police said the brothers, said be partially mentally challenged, left home
on Friday, telling their family that they were going to Harihar.

However, the siblings tied their hands before leaping to death from the
waterfalls. The police identified the duo based on the sim cards of their
cellphones which were recovered from their pockets.

Sources said the brothers, two of the five siblings, had lost their mother
sometime ago. Their two brothers are tailors while the other is working
outside the state. Their father also is a tailor. A case has been registered
at Gokak city police station.
