*10 January 2012* *THRISSUR* : Mental Health Authority Secretary D. Raju conducted inspection at the Shanthi Bhavan Sarvodhaya Pankuvakkal Charitable Society, Avanur, near here, on Monday. Dr. Raju inspected the documents and facilities at the centre. Later, he called on the patients admitted to the West Fort Mental Health Centre. The Health Department recently rescued 41 mentally-ill patients from the illegal treatment centre at Avanur during a raid.
