Hi all,
This is just to inform all about the sad demise of  a fellow carer Shri
Kasi Viswanathan , a friend as well as
a genuine good soul who retired from Atomic energy commission.
He was the first one to test the Guardians act which some in the carers
family advocated
as a simple process in the court. He had a willing advocate Mrs.Laila Olapillai
who helped him free.
The Psychiatrists were helping. The Legal services authority of Karnataka was
helping. But it took nearly
two years for the court procedure to be over. There were no conflicting claims
for guardianship for his son.
So one can imagine a disabled child due to Mental illness fighting a court case
after the demise of
the carers.
Those who know him can call his home at the following number.
