10-APR-2014 RAIPUR: The police are clueless about the killers of a woman who was raped in an under-construction RDA building at Tatibandh locality of the city. Four teams of policemen have been deployed to investigate the case. It is suspected that local anti-socials might have committed the crime. The naked body of the woman was found in the RDA building in Tatibandh on Tuesday morning. The younger brother of the deceased identified the body. He had filed a complaint of missing person with Amanaka police station on April 5. In the statement given to the police, he had said that his sister was mentally ill. She had been under medical treatment for the last 20 years. According to the police, family members of the deceased were not suspicious of anybody. The incident of rape and murder of a mentally ill woman in the city has shocked the citizens. CSP Azad Chowk IK Elisella, Amanaka police station in-charge Rakesh Bhoi and Crime Branch in-charge Sanjay Singh on Tuesday visited the crime spot. More than one person is suspected to be involved in the crime. The police have rounded up some anti-social elements from Tatibandh area and interrogated them, but did not get any clue to the murder.
