removing messages from an archive

We are cleaning up an archive. It has >50k messages.

We used -rmm to remove unwanted messages.

That works but we are wondering if we can do the same with an element?

Eg
  this
<rmm>
23-34
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
52
</rmm>
  and this do the same thing
prompt> mhonarc -rmm 23-34 [EMAIL PROTECTED] 52
What would it take to add that to the code?
