I've posted the information on the July 2nd meeting on the MHVLUG website
(http://mhvlug.org). The summary is included here for everyone's benefit.

Next Meeting: Wednesday, July 2nd, 2003 6pm-8pm

Henry Landry will be presenting Samba : Dances with Wolves

Samba is an open source implementation of MicroSoft's Server Message
Block (SMB) protocol. It both allows a Linux machine to act as a Windows
file and print server, as well as allows Linux machines to connect to
Windows file and print servers.

This presentation will give an overview of Samba, focusing on Linux as a
server, convering topics which include basic installation, configuration,
and printing. Henry will also be providing demos of Samba in action, both in
a typical home environment, and in a Domain environment.

Due to the depth of the subject, the talk will run for 90 minutes,
instead of the normal 60, starting promptly at 6:05 pm. Please ensure you
are there early to not miss beat.

The meeting will be at the Mid Hudson Valley Library System Auditorium in
Poughkeepsie, New York. Directions can be found on the MHV Library System
Website. The meeting is FREE and open to the public. Anyone interested in
learning more about the group, or helping Linux is encouraged to attend.

There is no silver bullet. Plus, werewolves make better neighbors
than zombies, and they tend to keep the vampire population down.
