Brief note; looks like my T61p is headed to the factory in the next
couple of days for a motherboard replacement. From reading the
forums, apparently some ThinkPad models T60 and up run into a problem
when utilizing both DRAM sockets that causes memory corruption. I
suspect it has to do with Dual-Channel memory mode. But for whatever
reason, MemTest86+ now shows memory errors when utilizing both DRAM
sticks, but no errors when using only one. Another hint that it
wasn't a problem with a particular DRAM stick was that the same
memory locations came up as a problem in MemTest86+ after switching
DRAM sticks around between slots. From reading the forums, it's a
known problem that is fixed with a motherboard replacement.

Just wanted to mention it in case some of you are running the T60
series and up with only one DRAM stick.
