There may be one or two more people in meetup.com that have
interest in django... I'm not sure if they are in the LUG

Speaking of Hack days, I've been thinking about organizing a Django
Hackathon some time soon since there seems to be an increasing
interest on
the list. I haven't really done any specific planning yet as
work has been
beating me into the ground but this seems to be as good a time as
any to try
and gauge interest.
Is there anybody who would be interested in having an event where
there
could be a group tutorial/general hacking focused on learning
Django and
working on Django related projects some time in the next 2-3 months?

I'd be interested. There's also a local programmer-oriented group
that may be interested in hearing about it:

You might consider joining and posting over there as well since
there's a lot of shared interest between the two groups.
There's a meeting on the 20th at the Palace Diner.
I've been working on putting together a "git day" and a "build and
test automation day". A Django day would be cool too!
