There are several free Windows VNC programs including TightVNC and RealVNC.
I run RealVNC on my XP laptop and connect to my home Linux servers via WAN
or LAN all the time. I think the problem is going to be with the second
requirement of transfering audio across the VNC session. I've tried that
with RealVNC and it doesn't work, and I don't think TightVNC will do it
either. The other items should work fine with either.
