A negative recommendation: Avoid all random wireless keyboards. Most of them SUCK BADLY and only work for about 2 feet. I got a brand-name wireless mouse which worked for about 8 inches. Many are meant to be "i don't like wires on my desk" not "i want to cross a room".
I bought a Logitech LX8 cordless mouse in February (about $40 at Staples IIRC) and am quite happy with it. It's still next to my keyboard where a corded mouse would go. I had to use the "extender" (included) because my USB ports face the wrong direction. All standard functions worked right out of the box, but I haven't figured out the "extra" buttons yet. Battery life is better than I expected; two alkaline AAs last me about four months.
However, I'm using it as "I don't like wires on my desk." It doesn't seem to work more than about six feet from its receiver. I haven't tried a cordless keyboard yet. HTH.
