I'll say.

When I flashed the BIOS a month ago it said version 3310, the newest
version, was loaded. I mean, if you booted, hit F2 and went into
setup, the bios version was shown as 3310. So why then should you need
to hold the power button down for 2 minutes to complete the bios
upgrade? If it's running 3310 it's running 3310, one would think.

Again, this might be unique to this particular model (Acer Aspire One
netbook), but it might be a good idea to keep the press the power
button for 2 minutes with not battery or DC in connected after a bios
flash upgrade in your bag of tricks :)
