Has anyone come across a ultra-low power netbook/laptop?
When I mean ultra-low I'm talking able to run off a 14 Watt roll-able Solar
Panel => http://www.amazon.com/14-Watt-Rollable-Solar-Panel/dp/B003E1GLO6
I am doing the research for it but thought I would open it up to a group
discussion, since it may benefit others.
Some of you maybe asking "Why? what is your goal? What project are you
thinking about?"
I passed my Ham Technical license test on Saturday ( have to wait 2 weeks to
get my new "2" call and thus will DROP GNu_Joe ).
So I will shortly start studying for General and Extra at the same time so
look for another post about anyone wishing to form a study group.
Anyway I am really REALLY interested in QRP but mainly DXing with digital
modes ( thus the ultra-low power laptop )
But... want to do this remote like on a mountain top etc. thus powered only
by green sources ( aka solar wind or what ever I can get ).
Hopefully some day will be a talk Bruce and I will give.

GNu_joe for now, will become Joe_{call sign}
2 call => HAM licenses given in NY always have a 2 =>
