The Ainol stuff is a) wacky chinese variants of the firmware, and b)
*mips based*.

That means a LARGE quantity of apps from the market simply will not run.
Anything that uses native code, which is a surprisingly large amount of
things, won't be able to run on the mips processor.

I'd avoid the pain.

Also the screen on the Paladin model is just plain wacky - when it's
been running for a while the capacitance detectors get wonky and it goes
nuts.  At least the one my friend has does.
