The Raspberry Pi is a $35 Linux computer that uses a USB charger for power and a HDTV for a monitor. ( Keyboard and mouse via USB ) It's not the most powerfully computer, but it's cost effective and sips power at 3-5 Watts. ( please see http://www.raspberrypi.org/about for the full story )
The Raspberry Pi => http://www.raspberrypi.org/ The local "discussion" is at SquidWrench since even though it's a Linux computer, it's application is more in the physical domain: http://squidwrench.org/forums/technical/raspberry-pi So my posts and discussion is there.
