I just put windows into my good laptop because I expect to need it to
do my taxes next month. I thought that the windows editions of the open
source programs like Libreoffice would be safe.
Guess again, they are full of toolbars that you have to decline and
other junk. I thought that I had carefully declined everything until I
booted up Firefox. The home page had been changed to the
"Funmoods"search engine.
