I think you mean "ThinkCentre" which is an IBM/Lenovo product; unfortunately 
that spelling difference is significant in terms of finding the thing.  There 
have been lots of ThinkCentre models, so this codename alone doesn't pin down 
what era the box itself is from.

However now knowing that it's an IBM product, in terms of the problem you're 
having concering partitioning the disk, this doesn't change very much IMHO.
